Dr. Joshua Maniscalco is the founder of Westlake Psychiatry, an organization dedicated to advancing mental health care through exceptional clinical practice and an innovative vision. With over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults, Dr. Maniscalco has worked across diverse settings—including forensic, emergency, and general psychiatry—providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Dr. Maniscalco attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from Texas A&M University, where he was honored with the prestigious Richard K. Gaines Award for Excellence in the Field of Psychiatry. He completed his residency at NYU School of Medicine, refining his skills through rigorous clinical training. In addition, he has gained valuable academic and clinical training at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including at Harvard Medical School, UCLA School of Medicine, and the Yale Child Study Center. These experiences reflect his commitment to gaining a broad understanding of the human condition and have shaped his ability to approach patient care with depth, empathy, and precision.
As the leader of Westlake Psychiatry, Dr. Maniscalco is passionate about recruiting the most skilled and talented clinical providers—those who excel at helping patients receive the care they need.
